Following the success of “Tao’s Restaurant”, Mr Huang Yen Kun established Juju Hokkaido Hotpot in December 2004. Being a steamboat lover, Mr Huang felt that most steamboat restaurants in the local market are “all-you-can-eat” buffets that only focus on satisfying customers’ appetite and not the quality. Often, spicy or heavily flavored soups are used to cover the taste of the food. Mr Huang envisioned to create a steamboat restaurant that focuses on the “true-value” of food, a comfortable dining experience, and delicate presentation of food; thus the creation of Juju restaurant.
